Reservations and Rates
Is there a cancellation policy?
Any cancellation or modification must be communicated in writing at least 48 hours before the arrival date to avoid charges. Any cancellation made after this deadline or in case of no-show will result in the full stay being charged.
Is a guarantee required?
All reservations must be guaranteed by credit card or prepayment. Any non-guaranteed reservation will be automatically cancelled at 6:00 PM on the day of arrival.
Required documents upon arrival
In accordance with Luxembourg law, every guest must present a valid ID card or passport with a recent photo upon arrival.
How can I use my gift voucher to book?
You can book directly on our website. In the comments section, please indicate your gift voucher number and make sure to select “Pay at the property”. A credit card is required as a guarantee (no amount will be charged).

What time can I check in?
- Château Rooms and Grand Ducal Suite: from 3:00 PM
- Superior Rooms and Executive Suites: from 1:00 PM
At what time is the check out?
- Check-out: by 11:00 AM
- Grand Ducal Suite: until 1:00 PM
Is early check-in or early departure possible?
Unfortunately, early arrivals and late departures are not available.
Do you offer luggage storage?
Yes, our reception team can store your luggage before check-in or after check-out.
Rooms and Services
Do the rooms have air conditioning and Wi-Fi?
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Château.
Air conditioning is available in Superior Rooms, Executive Suites and in 10 Château Rooms.
Are there rooms accessible for guests with reduced mobility?
Yes, one Château Room is adapted for guests with reduced mobility, subject to availability.
Are the rooms suitable for families with children?
Executive Suites with sofa beds are ideal for families. Extra beds can be added in one Château Room and two Superior Rooms, subject to availability.
Are pets allowed?
Dogs are allowed only in ground-floor Château Rooms for an additional fee of €25 per night per dog. Pets are not allowed in the restaurant, breakfast area, or spa.
Catering
Can I reserve dinner at the hotel restaurant?
Our restaurant is open daily from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Reservation is mandatory. The menu is available on our website.
Which dining areas are available?
- Restaurant: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (reservation required)
- Library: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (lunch & snacks)
- Bar: 6:00 PM – 1:00 AM
- Breakfast: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM (reservation required)
Are special dietary options available?
Please inform us in advance of any special dietary requirements so that suitable alternatives can be arranged.
Facilities and Events
Can I organize events or seminars at Château d’Urspelt?
Yes, we organize corporate events and seated meals for small groups. For evening events, room reservations are mandatory.
Can the hotel host weddings?
Our facilities are no longer suitable for weddings with ceremonies or dancing. However, we do organize small wedding dinners (maximum 36 people), without ceremony or DJ.
Spa and Wellness
Is the spa included in the room rate?
The spa is open daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Access is not included in the room rate: €60 per person per day. Massages and treatments are available from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, advance reservation required.
Is the spa accessible to children?
Yes, from the age of 13 when accompanied by an adult. Treatments are available from the age of 18 only.
I have a voucher included in my package, what does it cover?
Bubble of Love Package: each person receives a €60 voucher usable for spa access or treatments. Spa access is complimentary with any treatment booking.
Sense of Luxury Package: each person receives a €120 voucher usable for treatments. Advance booking is recommended. Spa access is complimentary with any treatment booking.
Castle Escape Package: each person receives a €120 voucher usable for spa access over two days or for treatments. Advance booking is strongly recommended. Spa access is complimentary with any treatment booking.
Accessibility and Location
Is public transportation available nearby?
Yes, a bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel. Public transportation is free in Luxembourg. Clervaux train station is only 5 minutes away.
Does the hotel offer free parking?
Yes, free parking is available next to the hotel. The hotel declines all responsibility for vehicles. The parking area includes 35 electric vehicle charging stations.
